When a stage 2 formula is used
Stage 2 formula is intended for infants from six months of age, at the point when complementary foods are being introduced alongside milk feeds. It is not suitable for infants under six months. A healthcare professional can advise whether and when to move from a stage 1 formula.
Preparation and safe use
Follow the preparation instructions printed on the pack exactly. Wash your hands, and sterilise bottles, cups and teats before every feed. Use boiled water cooled to the temperature stated on the pack, and use only the scoop provided so the measurement is correct. Prepare each feed fresh and discard anything left over after a feed. Incorrect preparation — too much or too little powder — can harm your infant.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, close the pack tightly and use within the period stated on the label.
