When a stage 1 formula is used

Stage 1 formula is intended for infants from birth to six months, for use when a healthcare professional has advised that formula feeding is needed. It should not be started or changed without medical advice. Mojilac LF is a separate lactose-free option a doctor may recommend in specific circumstances.

Preparation and safe use

Follow the preparation instructions printed on the pack exactly. Wash your hands, and sterilise bottles and teats before every feed. Use boiled water cooled to the temperature stated on the pack, and use only the scoop provided so the measurement is correct. Prepare each feed fresh and discard anything left over after a feed. Incorrect preparation — too much or too little powder — can harm your infant.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. After opening, close the pack tightly and use within the period stated on the label.
